VARIETY: 100% Verdejo
ELABORATION PROCESS: Made from the flowey and herbaceaous Verdejo grape, the wine is fresh and aromatic with notes of citrus, blossom and fennel. It is fermented for 20 days in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature between 13 and 16ºC in order to ensure freshness.
THE WINE: In 1972 Vinos de los Herederos del Marqués de Riscal became the driving force behind the setting up of the Rueda appellation, making fresh, crisp and fruity wines to satisfy a new trend in international taste. This new style of wine.making could only be achieved in wineries equipped with the most modern technology, ensuring that all the aromas encolosed in the grapes were preserved. Continuous evolution and innovation has enabled Marqués de Riscal to harness the vineyards' full potential.
TASTING NOTES: This wine pairs well with fish and shellfish, white meat and pasta dishes or with selection of cold red meats.
