VARIETY: 100% Verdejo
ELABORATION PROCESS: Soft and slightly rainy Winter, followed by an also soft Spring with moderate rainfall, and budding of the vine between the last week of April and the first of May, with the cycle of a normal year. Some rains in July and a very soft August with lower temperatures than the average, caused a slow phenolic maturation and delayed slightly the cycle. However, a very hot end of August and beginning of September, guaranteed an end of the cycle with excellent maturation. Harvest took place during the first three weeks of October.
THE WINE: This is a cool and elegant wine, made exclusively with grapes from the Verdejo variety. It has a pale yellow colour, with greenish hues, and is sharp and very bright. Its aroma is powerful, very fruity, with expressive varietal primary aromas of fresh fruit in perfect harmony with floral aromas of lavender, aniseed touches of fennel and thyme typical of the Verdejo variety, as well as notes of hay and fresh grass. Its calibrated acidity lends it a notable freshness in perfect harmony with the volume of the wine, with an elegant fruity sensation and subtle bitterness at the finish.
