ABOUT THE WINERY
Bodegas Castelo de Medina was founded by three wine lovers in 1996 in the heart of the Rueda Designation of Origin, in a small town called Villaverde de Medina in the Province of Valladolid (Spain). We grow, harvest and select grapes and make, bottle and market wine in Castelo de Medina. Year after year our superb quality wines and services make us one of the most highly renowned wineries of the Rueda Designation of Origin. Our extensive range of red, white and rosé wines has been won prizes at the main national and international competitions as a result of the great investments in quality we have made in our winery since it was founded. The winery, which features traditional Castilian architecture (face brick, stone, wrought iron and wood), is equipped with advanced technologies for producing high quality wines. Although it is involved in continuous R&D+i projects, first and foremost is its dedication to local, traditional wine-making principles.
